Great work people!
On behalf of the Waterloo Wellington Dufferin and Grey Building and Construction Trades
Council we are pleased to offer our endorsement of Shannon Weber as the preferred
Mayoral Candidate for the City of Waterloo.
Shannon’s willingness to meet, discuss and consider the issues that the building trades and
our membership hold important as well her commitment to our City and Region gained her
our support.
We encourage all our members to consider her in their selection for Mayor of Waterloo.
We wish all the candidates in all areas of our political process well and encourage not only
our membership but all eligible citizens to participate in our municipal election process.

The Building Trades affiliates stepped up again this year, raising more than $3000 for the local Toy Mountain Campaign. This charity received donated toys which are then distributed by the Salvation army to local needy Boys and Girls.
WE ARE CALLING ON THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TO INVEST IN INFRASTRUCTURE TO HELP BUILD BACK BETTER BY SUPPORTING CANADIAN CONSTRUCTION WORKERS AND COMMUNITIES.
